This is how San Miguel de Allende welcomed in the New Year
The World Heritage City has once again captivated hearts in a night of dreams, consolidating once again as the best destination to welcome the New Year.
With an attendance of over 17,000 San Miguel residents and tourists, the city experienced a spectacular night full of magic, hope and love. Families and friends gathered to witness the arrival of 2024 in an event that left its mark on the hearts of all present.
The celebration began with a captivating musical ambiance at 10 p.m., followed by a dazzling video mapping at the San Miguel Arcángel Parish. The excitement reached its peak when the crowd celebrated the arrival of midnight with a magnificent fireworks display, illuminating the San Miguel monument par excellence.
After the countdown, attendees were delighted with dancing, clapping and chanting, thanks to a mix of international music provided by a talented DJ. The evening was closed by the pop-rock group High Moon, who ensured that the celebration would continue in the city’s bars, restaurants and social venues.
In terms of security, the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) reported a “White Balance”, indicating that the operation implemented during the weekend guaranteed the integrity and patrimony of the attendees.
